OPPO has done an excellent job upgrading their handsets to Android 12.
The business has been rolling both stable and beta releases of ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 to a variety of devices over the last few weeks, including the Reno 4 series, the Reno 7 Pro 5G, the F19 Pro, and the F17 Pro. The business has now revealed the names of the devices that will receive the ColorOS 12 stable and beta releases in the coming months.
According to the company’s press release, the following OPPO smartphones will receive ColorOS 12 beta releases in the coming weeks:
OPPO F19 and F19s: April 8
OPPO F17: April 14
OPPO A53: April 19
OPPO Reno 3 Pro: April 26
OPPO Reno 7 5G, Reno 10X Zoom, A76: May onwards
Along with the devices mentioned above, OPPO plans to release stable builds to the following phones starting April 25:
OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G
OPPO Reno 4 Pro
OPPO F19 Pro+
OPPO A74
OPPO A53s 5G
Additionally, OPPO announced that customers of the Reno 7 Pro 5G would begin receiving the stable update in May. All of the dates listed above apply to OPPO smartphones marketed in India. OPPO has not yet published a comparable release schedule for additional areas. We’ll notify you as soon as further information becomes available.
For the uninitiated, ColorOS 12 is OPPO’s latest custom Android skin based on Android 12. It incorporates all of the features released in Android 12, as well as a few handy additions.
