In Windows 10, your device is always kept up to date with the latest features and patches. Drivers are installed automatically so you don’t have to choose the necessary updates.
In rare cases, a specific driver may temporarily cause problems that affect your device. In this case, you can prevent the driver from having problems installing automatically the next time Windows Updates is installed.
That’s when you need an application called wushowhide. First, run wushowhide, click Next to continue. Click on the Hide updates button.
Select the installation that you want to bypass, for example, here. I want to skip installing network drivers (Realtek Semiconductor Corp…). After choosing, click Next.
You will see the result as below.
Click Close to finish. Later when you want to show it again, you also run this application again, but instead of selecting Hide updates, select Show hidden updates to display a list of items that do not allow updates to turn on again.
