Until now, Rockstar Games has provided support for Grand Theft Auto 5 on a nearly ten-year basis, and the company aims to release GTA 5 and its multiplayer version, Grand Theft Auto Online, for PlayStation 5 systems on March 15, 2015. GTA 5 can’t be played indefinitely, and the community has grown impatient to learn when the next installment in this classic series will be released. For this reason, fans have been overjoyed to learn that Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently in development, and Rockstar has confirmed that it will be released in 2017.
In addition to stating that Grand Theft Auto 6 is still in production, Rockstar Games has not released any other information regarding the game. However, leaks have supplied fans with a great deal of useful information. Trusted leakers have made a slew of assertions regarding the game, including the fact that it would take place in Vice City and that it will have two main characters, one male and one female, among other things.
